  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Creamy Ranch Steak & Mozzarella Garlic Butter Pasta is a rich and comforting dish combining tender seared steak bites with penne pasta in a luscious garlic butter ranch sauce, melted mozzarella, and a hint of seasoning for an indulgent yet easy-to-make dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak & Seasoning

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Pasta

  • 12 ounces penne pasta

Sauce & Cheese

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet used for the steak, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Make Ranch Cream Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and stir in the ranch seasoning mix. Simmer the sauce for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.
  5. Melt Mozzarella: Add the shredded mozzarella cheese to the sauce and stir until it melts completely, forming a creamy, smooth ranch cheese sauce.
  6. Combine Pasta and Steak: Return the drained pasta and seared steak to the skillet. Toss everything together thoroughly to coat the pasta and steak evenly in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve: Serve the creamy ranch steak and mozzarella garlic butter pasta hot. Optionally, garnish with extra shredded cheese or fresh herbs for added flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Use sirloin or ribeye for best flavor and tenderness.
  • Adjust seasoning according to taste, especially salt and pepper.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a creamy milk alternative.
  • Fresh garlic is important for flavor; avoid pre-minced garlic for better taste.
  • This recipe can be paired with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
