Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Mixture
- 1 lb chicken breast, shredded
- 1–2 cups buffalo sauce (adjust based on spice preference)
Base Layer
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
Toppings
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 tube black writing gel
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
- Coat Chicken: In a large plastic bag, combine the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce. Seal the bag and mix thoroughly until the chicken is evenly coated with the buffalo sauce.
- Spread Cream Cheese: Evenly spread the softened cream cheese onto the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, creating a creamy base for the dip.
- Layer Buffalo Chicken: Arrange the buffalo-coated shredded chicken in a single layer on top of the cream cheese layer without mixing them together.
- Add Ranch Dressing: Pour the ranch dressing evenly over the buffalo chicken layer; do not stir to maintain distinct layers.
- Cut Cheese Ghosts: Using a cookie cutter, cut ghost-shaped figures out of the sliced mozzarella cheese.
- Top with Cheese Ghosts: Place the mozzarella ghost shapes on top of the chicken mixture, spacing them so they do not overlap.
- Bake the Dip: Bake the assembled dish in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Decorate Ghost Faces: Once baked, use the black writing gel to draw eyes and mouths on all the mozzarella ghost shapes, giving them a spooky look.
- Serve Warm: Serve the Halloween Buffalo Chicken Dip warm with your choice of chips, bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
